The Preclinical Biology and Testing team at Mölnlycke Health Care is looking for candidates for an Associate Laboratory Specialist Position. This role is office based at our Headquarters in Gothenburg. The team is responsible for the biological evaluation of various modalities and concepts in early pipeline activities to late-stage projects. We are looking for a skilled team member for a laboratory position.
As an Associate Laboratory Specialist your key responsibilities are:
Formulate and validate biological hypothesis.
Develop, verify, validate and implement new in vitro and ex vivo test methods.
Perform laboratory work, deliver data and provide data-based recommendations to platforms and projects.
Engage and participate in research collaborations with academia and industry as an expert.
Represent the team's expertise with internal and external customers.
Prepare and write scientific publication.
Role:
Experienced in cell and or microbiology. Focus on microbiology is preferred.
Skilled in qPCR, Western blot, microscopy and other assay technologies.
Experienced in method/assay development.
Flexible and adaptable to new work constellations.
Fluent in English.
Profile:
Master/PhD or at least 3 years of experience in life science industry in an equivalent position.
Proven track record on project work or collaborations.
