And right now, our R&D Laboratories are entering a new phase. As part of our quest to develop the next generation of wound care products, we’re expanding and are looking for new members for our R&D team.
We are now hiring five Associate Laboratory Specialists to the Physical Testing and Method Development teams.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
To secure expertise and to develop and implement new models and methods for physical laboratory testing. Also provide projects, platforms and other customers with laboratory test data, documentation, analysis and statistical input underpinning relevant investigations and decisions. You will also support the development and implementation of new and/or improved materials, products and concepts to meet customer needs.
Your main focus will be Physical testing, developing new expertise and developing & implementing new methods/ new models in lab testing. You will work with early development and innovation. This role is perfect for an individual that can work with the unknown, work in concept development.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Project
Plan and execute tests and other related tasks
Represent area of expertise within projects and activities
Set up, execute and update methods in the lab
Develop, verify, validate and implement new test methods

Line
Identify method development needs and requirements
Plan, coordinate and execute method development, activities and lab evaluation/analysis
Ensure user requirements and coordinate implementation of lab test equipment
Accountable for execution of methods and delivery of accurate data in the lab
Develop and implement safe and efficient ways of working
Ensure continuous improvement of laboratory infrastructure
To secure compliance within assigned area
Track external state of the art technologies
Lead Method Group (maintain existing method portfolio)
Engage and participate in standardisation work

KEY DECISIONS
Decision mandate in accordance to appointed roles in QMS and projects
Sign off and approve implementation of new test methods
Decision of data quality and correctness
Decision on data statistical significance

CAPABILITIES; QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Deep knowledge in working with development and validation of test methods and instruments
Basic understanding of Global Regulatory Requirements and standards related to medical device
Basic understanding in Design control
Scientific and technical competence within assigned area
Fluent English written and spoken
Communication skills

Qualifications and Experience
2 years’ experience within relevant laboratory work
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or life science or equivalent
Experience within Medical device/Pharma or relevant field
