As an Associate Principal Scientist ? Modelling and Simulation Specialist your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
-A PhD level education (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
-A solid knowledge of the drug discovery development process
-Extensive modelling and simulation experience
-Experience with PK/PD modeling, pharmacometrics, systems pharmacology, systems biology, or related areas
-A detailed understanding of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics
-An understanding of current principles and concepts in safety assessment
-Pharmaceutical industry knowledge
As an Associate Principal Scientist - Modelling and Simulation Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:
-Contributing to the development and implementation of new strategies for translational safety
-Optimising the design of toxicology studies and developing preclinical models to enhance project decision-making
-Working to optimise the impact of modelling in efficacy and safety studies
-Evaluating and interpreting data to prepare for internal governance bodies
-Working in appropriate external forums to champion the use of modelling and simulations in toxicology settings
