As an Associate Principal Scientist - Respiratory in vivo Specialist your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
-A PhD-level education (or equivalent) in pharmacology, toxicology or related life science discipline
-A detailed understanding of current principles and concepts in safety assessment
-Expertise in in vivo respiratory organ system toxicology
-Extensive experience of preclinical research in a pharmaceutical environment
-An understanding of regulations and relevant compliance systems
-A working knowledge of patent and IP strategies
As an Associate Principal Scientist ? Respiratory in vivo Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:
-Taking a scientific leadership role in designing and delivering in vivo respiratory studies to support projects across the portfolio
-Maintaining a thorough understanding of safety assessment, the research and development process and how they contribute to achieving successful product launches
-Keeping abreast of trends within the external scientific world
-Sharing experience, knowledge and industry developments with peer scientists
-Determining which processes and methodologies should be pursued, and making decisions about how much to invest in them
