We are looking for a talented and creative Associate Product Manager interested in pushing our understanding and the performance of our In-App Purchase (IAP) monetisation as a part of the Candy Crush Saga team. You will get the opportunity to be part of a great team, working with an industry leading and genre defining game with over 200 million active players.
Your role within the Kingdom
As an Associate Product Manager in the In-App Purchase team of Candy Crush, you will be working with varied stakeholders in a fun, dynamic and fast-paced environment. You’ll help us to make sure we get the right offer to the right player at the right time to create a meaningful and engaging purchase experience for our players.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategy
Define and own the IAP Live Operations strategy and how it translates into day to day activities and plans
Offer planning
Liaise with Events and other areas in Candy to make sure we have meaningful IAP offers and features surfaced across the game in line with other Candy Live Operations strategies
Define processes & tools to make planning and coordination with other teams smooth, and plans transparent and clear
Offer development
Continuously review the current offer portfolio and optimise it by creating new and exciting offers
Manage the asset creation and implementation for planned offers and monetisation events, working collaboratively with developers, designers and artists
Data, Analytics & Insights
Work together with your team consisting of data scientists, other product managers and pricing experts to create a deep understanding of player behaviour
Actively monitor the performance of live tests and communicate performance with stakeholders
Using data and analytical tools, analyse tests and make recommendations for further improvement and new tests
Skills to create thrills
You are a passionate problem solver and have the ability to draw data driven business insights that will add real value to King. You are proactive and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and work in a fast paced and collaborative environment whilst communicating effectively with teams and individuals across King.
Experience and capabilities that would suit this role:
You likely have worked in consulting, as a product manager at a tech/games company or in a similarly analytical role
Prior experience in an industry with very short implementation cycles such as e-commerce, online products/services or games
Highly analytical, with proven experience of big data decision making
Good understanding of data and statistics, with the ability to interpret these with confidence and drive through your recommendations and a willingness to learn more
Experience in behavioural psychology/economics and/or pricing is a bonus
