Associate Product Manager
The junior product manager will work under the mentorship of an experienced product manager to grow professionally and develop their skills and experience. Expected career progression for a Junior Product Manager would be into a Product Manager role.
Responsibilities
● Take responsibility for part of the product flow or specific problem areas within the product
● Represent the end customer and the business
○ Build a deep understanding of our two customers - Cities and Riders - to identify their needs, pain points and opportunities for how to improve their experience
○ Build strong relationships with business functions and understand
what outcomes are required to successfully grow Voi
○ Understand how our users use our product today
○ Track competitor and external market movements relevant to your area


● Input into vision & strategy
○ Work with the wider product team to to formulate a vision and product strategy for your area or responsibility
○ Communicate the full strategy to the wider team


● Identify & evaluate opportunities
○ Identify problem areas / opportunities that help us deliver the strategy
○ Leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate opportunities
○ Support product manager, or head of product, on prioritisation and roadmap management
○ Maintain a 6-months rolling roadmap of opportunities and planned releases for your area
○ Continuously update roadmap base on testing, in-life results and new


Requirements
● Deliver impactful change through strong collaboration
○ Lead and plan discovery with cross-discipline teams and partners
○ Structure and conduct customer research to support the product
development process and share information & insight
○ Take idea/problem/opportunity through discovery to execution and delivery
○ Ground your assumptions with stakeholders across Voi
○ Test ideas and iterate to deliver impactful solutions
○ Take responsibility for the value and impact of output

● Track performance of product in-life
● Plan market launches and drive awareness of new developments, acting as a subject matter expert within your field
● Work closely with our external partners and support the development of new Relationships
