Associate professor in informatics

Qualifications:
The applicant must hold a doctoral degree in informatics/information systems/interaction design or closely related fields. Strong emphasis will be placed on experience in teaching at different levels in relevant subjects, and proven teaching skills. The applicant must demonstrate a strong, currently active research profile in the above fields. The overall scientific production should be extensive in high-quality research journals. Documented experience from innovation, research and development in an industrial environment is also a strong merit.

Assessment criteria:
For appointment as associate professor, the following assessment criteria will be applied:
- Ability to conduct high-quality teaching and to develop courses at different levels
- Ability to conduct research of high international quality in informatics
- Documented experience from research in collaboration with industrial partners
- Experience in supervision of master/PhD students
- Ability to attract external funding

The specific weight given to each item above is decided in each case respectively.

Salary level:
Individual salaries are applied at Halmstad University. The application should include salary requirements.
