Arbetsbeskrivning
The Department of Technology Management and Economics at Chalmers University of Technology conducts prominent research within areas such as innovation, entrepreneurship, industrial marketing, logistics and quality sciences. The department consists of five divisions.
This position is at the division of Innovation and R&D Management, part of the Department of Technology Management and Economics. The research and education focus on the management of R&D and innovation. The basis is the real problems encountered by firms and we have a management perspective to address questions of strategic significance. In short, our research deals with prerequisites for innovation and R&D in small, medium-sized and large organizations. This means e.g. research about firms’ innovation activity and their development of new business models, and not least how these activities are managed, but also research on projects, processes, methods and tools for effective and efficient product development.
At the Division we offer courses that are close to our research. The courses are found at all levels of education at different educational programs at Chalmers, ranging over a number of different areas such as design, innovation, product development, project management, operations research, engineering economic analysis and business development. Many courses deal with the managerial aspects of R&D and innovation.
