As a consultant with us, you work on behalf of our customer in Ludvika. We currently have several exciting assignments with global production companies in the engineering industry.

Responsibilities
Support engineering activities under the supervision of senior engineer in all types of projects sizes and complexities. Complete tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. Performs basic survey work, standard computations, analysisand basic design tasks. Collects data and supports production of the engineering design (e.g. creates drafts for the Project Engineer to approve). Assists other engineers (preparation of permit applications, testing, drawings, computer aided design work, etc.). Exercises judgment on limited details of work and on application of standard methods. Prepares project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables.


Perform semiconductor valve calculations including electrical, thermal and losses
Perform semiconductor valve simulations including circuit and FEM simulations
Design and maintenance of digital current transformers HVDC and FACTS applications
Specify testing requirements to ensure that tests are performed according to standards
Specify control and protection requirements on the valve
Being responsible for customer trainings


Qualifications
We belive that you are team player who is not hesitant in communicating with people and you are a natural problem solver who enjoys challenges and are open-minded and straightforward in your communication. 

We are looking for a person with;
at least a Bachelor of Science and preferably a Master of Science in Power Engineering, Engineering Physics or equivalent
previous work experience in similar field is preferable
good knowledge of engineering tools such as Matlab, Mathcad, PSCAD, PSpice,COMSOL or ANSYS, etc

Fluency in English is required, and Swedish is highly valued
