Associate Project Manager for Optical Systems

The Power Grids division is the world's leading supplier of power and automation products, systems and service solutions for the entire value chain from power generation to the transmission and distribution of electricity. HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a business unit within ABB’s Power Grids division located in Ludvika. The unit develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. This ABB developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems.
Your responsibilities
Be the Associate Project Manager for Optical Systems within the HVDC- and SVC-Valves applications.
Ensure that orders and tenders are delivered to the right cost, delivery time, risks and scope.
Work closely and communicate with our engineering, product management, purchasing and production functions.
Continuously work on further improving our processes and quality assurance.

Your background
To be successful in this role we prefer that you have project management experience and/or a business- or engineering degree.
You are a communicative person with good collaborative skills.
You are fluent in both English and Swedish, written and spoken.
