We are now looking for an Associate Scientist to strengthen our biological capabilities in the Research & Development department. What makes you stand out is your passion for what your work means - coupled with your ability to listen to customers and respond with appropriate urgency.
In this role you will work in the lab together with an engaged and experienced team. You will build and evaluate hypotheses in the area of wound healing and microbiology. Beyond this, we want you to develop and perform models and methods for micro- and cell biology in the lab.
This role is based at HQ, Gothenburg.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the development and performance of models and methods to provide evidence on test hypotheses.
Contribute in the development of in vitro models.
Perform, evaluate and report all tests as agreed with the customer.
Control and maintain performance of laboratory equipment and support continuous improvement activities.
Order and plan testing by external providers for cross-validation.
Contribute to scientific networks/collaborations inside and outside of Mölnlycke Health Care.

Qualifications
Academic background from microbiology/cell biology
Experience of laboratory/R&D work in the area of cell- and microbiology.
Experimental skills in the use of in vitro techniques
Performance driven with excellent collaboration
Communication skills
Flexibility & independence
