Role Overview
We are looking for an Associate Site Reliability Engineer who would like to help us on our quality of service for our customers.
Your role as an Associate Site Reliability Engineer will be very dynamic and fun as you would become one of the key people in overviewing system reliability, stability, and efficiency of M3 ERP. In this journey you will work alongside other experienced SREs and Engineers and learn about running SaaS in cloud and how to provide better experience for our customers.
In practice and day to day work, you will learn about M3 Cloud Edition, its infrastructure and monitoring and observability tools as well as using these tools to understand how production workloads are behaving and take input to the development organization for improving the system. Your input to development teams will be very helpful and important and will affect our SaaS offering and help customers have a better experience.
As an associate SRE, we understand that there is a learning curve and support you to learn and step up in your role to be productive and give you the tools that you need to grow in your role.
Responsibilities
· Participate in standups, ask for help and help others when possible
· Learn about M3 Cloud Edition and SaaS
· Learn about log aggregation tools e.g., SumoLogic
· Learn about monitoring tools e.g., Grafana
· Build dashboards and queries with log aggregation tool for specific application domains
· Build dashboards and graphs with Grafana for specific application domains
· Actively monitor production workloads to identify issues and report to appropriate teams
· Document findings and issues on Issue Tracking and wiki platforms
Requirements
· Bachelor/Master of Computer Science or related field
· Knowledge of Java/Python programming language or similar
· Familiar with cloud systems
· Eager to learn about DevOps and SRE principles
· Eager to learn about monitoring and observability
· Eager to learn about containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes
· Have proactive approach when it comes to work i.e., take decisions and act before it needs to be “dealt” with
· Fluent in English in both speaking and writing
Preferred Skills
· Speaking Swedish is a merit
