Northvolt has an exciting job offer for an associate validation engineer. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon-free society, and this is your opportunity to take part in leading those efforts and help drive us to success.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Plan, organize, direct and follow up on customer project-related activities to ensure delivery of project deadlines.
Perform tests and develop innovative test methods together with the team.
Analyze and present test results to internal and external stakeholders.
Support set up of test facilities
Work closely with other teams such as design and simulation to develop our product and establish innovative designs in the battery environment.
Facilitate communication and clarification of technical requirements between customers and Northvolt's internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with a team of talented engineers in agile environment.
Education/Experience
Bachelor or above degree within Material, Electrical, Mechanical or other relevant technical field is a must
Experience in mechanical testing and/or validation is a must
Experience in material level and component level testing, especially in early development stages in an industry environment is a plus
Experience within development, production and/or testing of batteries would be a plus
Skills & Requirements
Excellent English in written and oral skills is a must.
Ability to work under high pressure with tight deadlines.
Strong organization skills and used to manage a range of activities simultaneously.
Experience from start-up environment is a plus.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently.
German, Chinese, Korean or would be a plus.
