Information Risk Management
We are a growing area within KPMG with great development opportunities for the right candidates. We have teams in Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö who works in two main areas: to provide risk assessments over our clients’ IT environments and perform data analytics as part of our audit approach.

For us as well as for our clients, the financial processes and internal control are increasingly automated. This creates a need of ensuring that the IT systems that are used in the financial processes are secure and operates as intended. Therefore, we are looking for recent graduates with an interest in IT, risk management and audit for our IT audit teams in Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö.

Your role
Together with more experienced colleagues you will work with identifying IT related risks, evaluate and test internal controls and report opportunities for improvement to our clients. The work is performed in close collaboration with IT audit colleagues as well as with the financial auditors in the audit team.

Most of your time will be spent performing IT audits as part of the external audit. Based on our area of expertise, we also perform engagements within IT assurance, internal audit, IT security and cyber security. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with clients across industries, both large international and medium-sized Swedish companies.

We work with tools developed by KPMG Global as well as we locally develop tools and analyzes using i.e. Excel, SQL, Power BI, R and Python. There are great development opportunities for our colleagues within this area.
We welcome candidates with any professional and educational background if eager to work with financial data, IT risk assessment and data analytics.

To thrive in the role, you will have a combination of the following:

- A great interest in IT and IT security.
- A need to learn more about organizations and their financial processes.
- Great communications skills with the ability to prepare a presentation based on abstract information.
- An analytical mindset where trends and patterns are your second languages.
- You know your way around MS Office and you need something more advanced than Excel to feel challenged.
- 3-5 years of higher education. If part of your degree was obtained abroad, it would be beneficial.
- 0-2 years of professional experience within the area, or alternatively you are interested in a change of careers.

We also believe you are interested in learning, or that you maybe already tried, one or more of the following:

- Keep up with recent media discussions about cyber security, data breaches and GDPR.
- Build dashboards with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, QlikView or Alteryx.
- Handling and analyzing data using SQL, Python, R or/and VBA.
- Automate boring and repetitive tasks.

We think you have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree, probably within informatics, information security, data science, economics or similar, but we do not think your degree defines your capabilities. You are fluent in Swedish and English. If Swedish is not your native language, you need to be fluent in English, as well as willing to learn Swedish.
