If this is you, then we have an assignment for you as Attorney. You will be part of the Western Europe legal team and report directly to the Swedish Legal Lead.

The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden. We embrace flexible working as a core principle for reinventing productivity. Office location is Central Stockholm. Note that, with the current COVID-19 pandemic in mind currently all personnel are encouraged to work from home and the office is used only on exception as per current guidance from Folkhälsomyndigheten.

The Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA) is looking to add a resource, whilst the role will partly fill in for a parental leave (December 2020-September 2021), it is not the sole purpose of the role.
CELA and the legal team services and advices all parts of the local sales and marketing organization. The legal team support agreement drafting, business advice and acts as a trusted advisor to the Leadership team of the subsidiary.
CELA in Western Europe to which the Attorney will belong has employees from numerous nationalities and backgrounds. The employees are based in the subsidiaries in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Italy the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland and are led by the Head of Legal for Western Europe. The CELA team members include commercial attorneys, government affairs representatives, compliance attorneys, paralegals, and administrators.
Besides the Attorney, the head of legal for Sweden, and the Head of Legal for Western Europe are based in Sweden and the Stockholm office.
Among the tasks are
• Assist internal clients complete or assess agreement templates (such as terms and conditions for contests, MOU’s).
• Guide to the use of internal tools.
• Reroute and identify questions to correct contact (NDA+ tool, ContractWeb, Paralegal, Sr. Attorney, Commercial Executive and Business Desk).
• Asses legal risk and provide legal advice, counsel, and interpret for the internal clients.
• Internal compliance and policy assessments.
• Conduct research and write memos regarding privacy law, international law and other corporate matters as required.
• Administrative work may include creation of purchase orders, book meeting rooms, book meetings, budget issues etc.
• High level of interaction with MS sponsor, the paralegal team and the WE attorney team as well as direct client interaction.
The legal team consists of senior talent and highly competent attorneys that offers high-quality legal advice that you would work alongside. This is an opportunity to work as part of a truly global and nimble organization. The legal team services all parts of our customers sales and marketing business on a variety of legal topics. You would be expected to show interest not only in the legal topics but the business needs that drive them and you have the opportunity to learn.
Basic skills we are looking for and that we can’t live without
• 2-3 years’ work experience in the legal profession.
• A Swedish law degree (juris kandidatexamen or juristexamen)
• Fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English.

The candidates we are looking for are fluent in English and Swedish, only candidates with a Swedish work permit already in place will be taken into consideration. The position is going to be based at our clients’ Swedish office in the city center of Stockholm. Expected is intention to stay 12-18 months, this is a temp position for a maternity leave.
