We are now looking for an Attribute Manager
      

Description

You will be an integral part of the Chapter Attributes, one of three teams that exist within the Mobility Design Tribe.

Within Attribute Management, we are focusing at the Product level (which will feed into System and Component levels); creation of robust technical requirements, awareness and comprehension of external factors, suitable benchmarking, influencing concept selection and verification/validation methods.

The attribute manager is focusing on the complete set of Attributes, supporting and balancing the contradiction between them, and evaluating the feasibility. In addition, there is a special focus on electrification, connectivity, car sharing and autonomous drive.

You will join an agile organization, where team work, empowered self-organizing teams, and quick learning cycles are the keys to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

The role involves:

- Lead the team of attribute owners spread in the organization, within a project.
- Ensure attribute deliverables according to project plan and follow up status during project progress.
- Evaluate feasibility of new proposals and products
- Accountable for the Vehicle Requirement definition (Non-Functional) based on market input, project boundaries, and functional content.
- Responsibility to balance the requirement performance levels for all attributes within the team.
- Responsible for the Attribute dialog with Product Strategy & Planning and marketing.
- Initiate and drive development of verification methods on complete vehicle– Road/Lab/Math.
- Establish and maintain internal and external networks within vehicle attribute expertise.
- Contribute in process and tools development, information and training around attribute work and requirements

          

 We are looking for someone who has:

- University education (bachelor) in Engineering and/or Science
- Strong, yet not duration dependent, related experience in managing one or more attributes, mechanical integration, complete vehicle test & validation or technical product management.
- High ability in verbal, written, and graphical communication
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
- Eligibility for work in Europe and China (i.e. no restrictions of travel)
