We are now looking for an Attribute Owner – Crash Protection/Post Crash Protection
Description
You will be an integral part of the Chapter Attributes, one of three teams that exist within the Mobility Design Tribe.
Within Attribute Management, we are focusing on Product level (which will feed into System and Component levels); creation of robust technical requirements, awareness and comprehension of external factors, suitable benchmarking, and verification/validation methods.
The attribute owner of Crash Protection/Post Crash Protection, is setting the non-functional product requirements of the physical safety of occupants, as well as considering the products overall performance, during, and post-crash.
You will join an agile organization, where team work, empowered self-organizing teams, and quick learning cycles are the keys to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

The role involves:
- Create Attribute Analysis (Input, Analysis, proposed Content) during Business Exploration
- Develop Attribute rating (1-10) to meet current and future market needs
- Benchmarking activities on Vehicle level
- Writing and balancing the Non-Functional Vehicle Requirements
- Allocation and agreement of Non-Functional Vehicle Requirements to System/Components
- Involvement in concept selections and design activities to understand design (hardware/electrical/software) considerations
- Initiate development of Verification/Validation methods on Vehicle Level, with focus on time and cost optimization (Road-Lab-Math).
- Involvement in the Attribute Verification (CAE, testing, etc.).
- Reporting the status of the Attribute during the project.
- Validate that Attribute performance targets meets Customer expectations (Product Profile).
- Keep NEVS Safety Strategy updated and aligned to product plan, market and legal requirements.
We are looking for someone who has:
- University education (bachelor) in Engineering and/or Science
- Strong, yet not duration dependent, related experience in Vehicle Safety
- High ability in verbal, written, and graphical communication
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
- Eligibility for work in Europe and China (i.e. no restrictions of travel)
- If you have experience in Vulnerable Road User protection it is a plus
