Polestar is the independent electric performance car brand founded by Volvo Cars and Geely Holding. In 2017, Polestar launched the Polestar 1 – a low-volume Electric Performance Hybrid GT. In 2020, the Polestar 2 was launched as the company’s first fully electric, higher volume premium car designed to compete with the Tesla Model 3. In the future, Polestar 3 will join the portfolio as a fully electric performance SUV.
We are looking for our next star to join our Brand & Marketing team in Gothenburg, Sweden. As an Audience Manager you will play an important role in the development of the audience strategy and road map. You will work with all functions and channels within marketing, global and local, to provide guidelines and advise on what consumers to target to meet set KPI’s. The audience management function is new at Polestar and together with our Consumer Segmentation Analyst you will build the foundation of this function.
You can lead your own projects, you are hands-on and can create processes and establish a scalable way of working within your area. We see that it’s important that you are highlighy analytical and loves to look at data, with an eye for detail and a good technical understanding.

Experience:
You have long and proven experience in working with paid marketing activities (such as paid social and programmatic), and e-mail marketing . We see that you have experience from Google and Facebook marketing platforms. You will need to have an understanding of Salesforce Marketing cloud, Datorama, and Salesforce DMP.
We see that you have experience in working with products that has a long sales cycle, working with performance marketing and cross-channel optimization.
It’s important that you are audience-centric with experience in segmentation and working with Customer journey strategy and management. A bonus if you also have expericence from a multimarket global organization, managing multiple stakeholders in a decentralized setting.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with CRM to develop and advise on KPIs for performance measurement of initiatives.
• Define audience strategy, framework and audience roadmap (translate each segment into applicable segments in each channel) to reach identified KPIs
• Set up guidelines, processes and way of working for different types of communication for different audience segments (e.g. new customers vs lost)
• Challenge media strategies and media budget allocation
• Provide guidance in best practices and training in audience management
• Transition in ways of working with cross channel targeting
• Constantly review our consumer KPI framework and recommend improvements
• Create recommendations for marketing and CRM team on which consumers to target.
• Maintain a direct relationship with the CX insights & analytics department to stay up to date on consumer models; educate CRM team on new or updated capabilities with recommendations for use cases
• Independently manage and prioritize ad-hoc requests on an ongoing basis.
• Coordination between stakeholders and channel managers
• Identify different segmentation criteria based on audience behavior, demographic, geographic, psychographic characteristics, etc.
