We're looking for individuals in Austria to read and record short phrases using the Appen Mobile App in German.
In this project, Appen is collecting speech data to train and develop artificial intelligence algorithms that will be used to improve speech recognition technologies.
Please Take Note:
For this project, a specific sampling rate is required that can only be achieved on certain devices. Please confirm that your device is on this list before starting a session as devices not on this list may not pass our Quality Checking process.
Project Description:
The task contains a total of 794 phrases that you need to read on a screen and record. You just have to follow the sentences written, no need to create your own sentences. The phrases will contain both numbers and letters.
Examples include:
“Meine Flugnummer lautet XZ5642.”
“WQ0942262736368645741901”
“27-04-1967”
The recordings will be done and uploaded through our Appen Mobile App.
Task Duration: Each sentence will take only an average of 10-30 seconds. In total, for the 794 recordings, it will take around 2 hours. Of course, we recommend that you take breaks as needed.
