This will be regarded as round 1, after which the jury will decide who they will invite to the 2nd and 3rd round of the audition on December 10-11, 2021. The audition will take place in Berwaldhallen, Stockholm, Sweden.

The jury may also ask for some of the other excerpts for
timpani/percussion on the audition.
All the timpani repertoire will be played on 5 Dresden timpani with calfheads except for Bacchanale “Allegro Vivace” which is played on 5 Aehnelt timpani with plastic heads, American setup.
All the instruments have Berlin pedal.
Candidates can bring their own tambourine, but the Swedish Radio will provide you with all other instruments. More information about the different instruments will be sent out later on, after receiving all applications.
