Automation Engineer

But now we want to be even better! We’re looking for a passionate Senior Automation Engineer to our Engineering & Supply in Business Unit High Speed Separators.

About the job.

Engineering & Supply Business Unit High Speed Separators is responsible for engineering and delivery of customer projects for separator systems to the biotech, pharmaceutical, starch, vegetable oil, protein, brewery, biofuels, and the beverages industry.

We develop and maintain a portfolio of configurable systems, covering the market needs in the best possible way.

To be able to meet growing demands, we need to extend our standardization and project teams with an automation engineer. The team has a life cycle covering responsibility related to the machines and systems in our portfolio.

Electrical and Automation design department is executing electrical design work as well as designing, constructing, and testing of control systems for our system deliveries. Your team members are automation engineers and electrical design engineers based in Tumba, Sweden. You will work in close contact with other Electrical and Automation Engineers as well as subcontractors and customers.

Your main tasks.
* Play an active role in the development of new products and in building up sustainable systems for our high-speed separators for the portfolio
* PLC and HMI programming of separator systems for our different markets
* Testing of PLC programs and control panels.
* Establish, document, and maintain clear standards for automation packages. Communicate these effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Take responsibility for continuous improvement of these standards.

What you know.
* You hold a university degree in automation, or you have a few years’ experience and background from automation systems in industrial applications and have a strong knowledge in industrial electricity.
* A “know-how” in Food & Water industry is a merit.
* Experience in PLC and HMI programming with TIA portal from Siemens.
* Experience in PLC and HMI programming with Studio 5000 and FTV Studio from Rockwell.

* Experience in control system testing.

* Your work approach is constructive, structured, and systematic while working under pressure
* You keep a strong perspective and see entirety and solutions.
* Knowledge in automation standards such as S88, GAMP5 etc is a merit

Practicalities:

The position requires approximately 15 travelling days per year and is based in Tumba, Sweden.
