Job description:
Main responsibilities for Automation Engineer are as follows:
- Design, implement, test, simulate and document PLC and HMI code for Machine Protection/Safety Systems.
- Prepare, execute and document functional verification and validation of PLC code for Machine Protection/Safety Systems.
- Be involved in reviewing PLC code from other systems and projects within the Protection Systems Group.
- Participate in planning and reporting
Qualifications:
- University degree in relevant field such as Automation, computer science or information technology with strong focus on PLC code development.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in using Siemens TIA portal programming tools, including HMI development.
- Strong experience in programming safety PLCs.
- Experience in simulating PLC and HMI programs.
- Experience in documenting software requirements, design specifications, and test specifications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent oral and written English skills
- Experience with EPICS control system.
- Experience working Jira
- Experience of working in an international environment
Start: As soon as possible
Extent: Full-time, 40h/week.
