Job Description
Your contribution to something big
As an Automation / Industry 4.0 Engineer, you are part of a specialist team that provides support for all manufacturing technology topics for Bosch TT's production unit in Tranås, Sweden. The work is conducted in a dynamic international environment with numerous contacts within the BOSCH Group both locally and abroad.
You actively contribute to develop and create the conditions for a more efficient production setup in order to optimize manufacturing with special emphasis on quality and productivity while working together with Industry 4.0 Engineers, Project Managers, Production Engineers, and other support functions.
This is achieved by continuously developing and executing our I4.0 roadmap and Bosch centrally derived projects, as well as supporting to maintain, implement and troubleshoot the IT in Manufacturing, according to the Bosch and ISO standards.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you
Academic background in Engineering (Informatics, Electrical, Mechanical or Physics), Computer Science or similar
PLC programming knowledge
Basic programming (any language), Database technologies and network knowledge
Understanding both OT, IT and IT/OT convergence
Eagerness to learn
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Curiosity about new technological trends
Analysis ability and problem-solving mindset
Able to take responsibility for your own work and apply own initiative
Result oriented and pro-active attitude
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong possibility to self-define activities to meet the needs of the organization
Experience with any of the following topics is considered advantageous
TwinCAT 3
Industrial protocols such as Modbus, CanBus, Profibus etc.
IoT standards and communication protocols like MQTT etc.
Electrical component and microcontrollers such as RaspberryPi etc.
Industrial systems like SCADA, PLC etc.
Node-RED, REST APIs, Apache Kafka message broker etc.
Git, Jira and confluence knowledge
Automation of manual work content
Communication skills in Swedish
