Automation Engineer

The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world. The Lamination Equipment team within the Packaging Material organisation is responsible for providing global lamination equipment competences to reach globally set performance targets related to lamination equipment and full laminator lines. We do this by: .Maintaining the standard line lamination equipment specifications .Driving and supporting industrialisation projects with design, validate and deployment of new solutions .Deliver, install and commission new machine lines .Support the installed base with upgrades, technical expertise and spare parts We can offer you a creative and stimulating work environment, as we need to strengthen our team with another skilled professional.Your main responsibilities will be: .Driving automation projects .Specification of electrical equipment .Co-ordination of electrical design made by consultants or sub-suppliers .PLC, HMI and Drive programming .Start up .Training and documentation The person we are looking for has several years experience from practical work with electrical and automation design and PLC-programming in Simatic S7.Experience from HMI, Drive systems is a strong advantage.Very good command of English, both written and spoken, is required.You are a self-motivated person with a high inner drive to deliver results but are still able to advise others to use the best methods.You are a networking person with strong interpersonal skills and it is also important that you are thorough and structured.You will be travelling (30-100 days/year) and working in a global environment.Key philosophy within the group is "freedom with responsibility".
