Automation Engineer

We are searching for a skilled Automation Engineer to support an Agile Team at one of our clients. The assignment focusing on Programming and it's beneficial if the consultant has experience from high level programming.
Assignment Description:
An Automation Engineer consultant that works with programming, testing, commissioning and documentation in order to create a new Automation Platform in Siemens TIA for converting machines.


The consultant will:
Program and test new PLC application code (including safety programming) for the different product types based on old Siemens S7 classic code and functional descriptions.
Work in an Agile team.
Needs to be flexible in handling different task depending on highest priority.



Role Description:
An Automation Engineer consultant works with programming, testing and commissioning in order to create solutions adapted to different product types and customer needs. The focus is on automation engineering in alignment with process engineering to ensure the total functionality.
The consultant performs analysis, system design and creates original or modifies existing HMI, database and PLC programs to meet project requirements. The work can also consists of ongoing customer support & troubleshooting and automation training for customer personnel on systems/modules.
Required skills:
Siemens TIA, STEP 7 (SCL, FBD, LAD) Siemens Safety
