The office in Kista is newly renovated, tailored to the company's needs, and employs 120 people. Open office landscapes and meeting rooms are combined with social areas, the opportunity to play a game of table tennis or sit and socialize on the roof terrace. A few stairs down you also find our new laboratory. Here in Kista, you work together with your colleagues in a family corporate culture that is often associated with smaller companies, but at the same time you are offered the opportunities of the large and international company.
As an automation engineer, you work with control systems and you make different components to work together. Your work is focused on both electrical design and software development in controllers and PLCs. Within the team, there is a close collaboration between the automation engineers and the embedded software developers.
The tasks for this role include for example:
Development of new and existing applications and products
Problem solving in the production
Software development and development of equipment for the production
Support the sales department
Documentation of how the systems work



For this role, we are looking for someone who has previous experience of working with development at a machine builder company, preferably a company that works with series production. You have the ability to independently make progress in your own work, but you also appreciate a close collaboration with colleagues. You are curious and like to come up with suggestions for new solutions.
To succeed as an automation engineer, we see that you have:
A university degree in a relevant field
At least 5 years' experience of similar work
Experience in PLC programming and electrical design
Experience in test and verification
Experience in VFD, HMI, communication protocols and commissioning



This role also requires that you are fluent in English and Swedish, in both speech and writing. Furthermore, it's beneficial if you have previous experience of working with products in heating, ventilation or air conditioning and if you have experience of connected machines or products.
