Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Contribute to the development of automated test strategies and frameworks, encompassing the creation, configuration, and execution of automated tests.
Play a pivotal role within a substantial program involving diverse elements such as a web portal, mobile apps, medical device integrations, content management systems, and various other integrations.
Create and enhance automated test suites using Selenium, ensuring the robustness of testing procedures.
Transform existing manual test scripts into executable automated tests to bolster testing efficiency.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the test automation framework of the client’s clinical trial support tool, ensuring seamless integration of new features, bug fixes, and existing functionalities.
Strategize and carry out automation tests on a continuous basis to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
Proactively identify areas for improvement within the automation process and framework, driving continuous enhancement efforts.
What you bring:
A degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
Extensive experience as a Senior Test Automation Engineer, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to test automation.
Proficient automation skills gained from working with diverse technologies and tools.
Thorough grasp of testing automation principles, concepts, methods, and approaches.
Proficiency in Java programming and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented design principles.
Familiarity with automated testing methodologies like Cucumber BDD and Selenium, in both agile and non-agile environments.
Proven teamwork capabilities accompanied by effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Working knowledge of the Cypress Test Automation Framework.
Experience using the Appium test automation framework for testing mobile apps via the Selenium WebDriver protocol.
Proficiency in JavaScript programming.
Exposure to API testing.
Familiarity with tools like BrowserStack.
Experience in globally distributed teams.
Ability to handle complex SQL queries.
Practical experience with Unix/Linux.
Participation and contribution to PI and Sprint planning.
Understanding of Web Services, Azure, and/or Amazon AWS.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Jenkins.
