As part of Tetra Pak´s organisation, you will be responsible for developing, maintain and implement world class converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions.
We are the global owner of the automation converting specifications related to tools, methods, and standards for converting equipment design.
We are looking for an Automation Engineer that will be responsible for developing, maintain andimplement world class converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions.
The position is permanent and based in Lund and could require travelling about 30% of your time.
What you will do
As an Automation Engineer - Industrial IT you will work in technology and product development projects, from initial ideas to automation/industrial IT solutions ready for deployment in our converting factories. You will be part of cross-functional project teams and working close to our suppliers. The position offers you to develop your expertise in a broad technical area covering the full converting line process and its different technologies in a cross-functional team.
You will focus on
Design automation/industrial IT software solutions and applications according to legal demands
Corporate standards and product specifications covering Tetra Pak converting process

Who you are
We are looking for a collaborative colleague with a strong and broad technical interest. You have a creative as well as an analytical mindset, and the ability to realise a vision into reality. You enjoy teamwork and are a clear communicator. Last, but not least, we think you are change-oriented and able to engage people around you.
You have a university degree/ diploma in Electrical, Computer, Industrial IT Engineer or equivalent. You have a solid background within automation, preferably with experience from Siemens Automation system. We believe that you have experience from programming Siemens Step7, TIA and WinCC.
Skills like high-level programming such as .Net, C#, VB, C++ is an advantage. Should you have interest in or knowledge about concepts like “smart factories”, Internet of Things” and “Industry 4.0”, this would be highly valuable. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
