The role
As Automation Engineer you will be part of the Engineering team. You will have a role as discipline lead and mainly work with the delivery of formaldehyde plants globally. You will also execute investment projects and other assignments in our production facility in Perstorp.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you with an education and background in electrical and/or instrumentation automation engineering serving the process industry, and preferably with working experience from similar roles. We are, however, open to candidates in the beginning of their career with the right mindset and drive to develop and take on a larger responsibility. Experience and interest of DCS systems, preferably Emerson DeltaV, is a merit.

You have knowledge of relevant regulations and standards. You have worked with engineering, dimensioning of equipment, CAD systems and DCS configuration. We see it as a merit if you have experience from ELPROCAD. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

As a person you take the initiative and drive things forward. You have communication skills, are structured, quality focused and goal oriented. You are service minded with a great drive to work with problem solving. You see travelling on a regular basis as a natural part of an international company.

Job tasks

* Pre-studies, safety assessments and project execution
* Lead engineer coordination
* Engineering and dimensioning of electrical, instrumentation and control equipment
* Create technical documents for purchasing, manufacturing and installation
* Specify, purchase and inspect key equipment with suppliers
* Application programming in Emerson DeltaV and in SIS
* Construction support to customers
* Pre-commissioning and start of operation with customer
* Contribute to development and improvement of products
* Customer and supplier meetings and start up at customer site
* Assist the Technical Support team
