Job Description


We are experiencing a time of significant change in technology, and our customers in the Life Science sector need support to navigate through these changes. Therefore, we are looking for passionate engineers, who would like to join our journey and help us shape the future of automation and digitization in Life Science, together with our customers.
In our Electrical, Automation & Industrial IT team within our Food & Pharma business area, there is an opportunity for you to work with automation solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Every year, we carry out several projects, where we handle everything from development and design to commissioning and documentation. We work with tailor-made solutions for our customers and are involved in everything from feasibility studies and projects to rebuilds and specialist assignments, either from our office or directly at the customer's premises. Our focus is primarily on pharmaceutical production, but we are also active in other industries, where collaboration with other disciplines such as industrial IT, electrical and instrumentation, process design, pipe design and validation are common.


At AFRY, we have a strong team of experienced automation specialists from all over the country. Our section consists of dedicated engineers with varying skills and experience, and we work actively with supervision and mentorship to ensure a smooth start for new employees.
The position is based at our office in Uppsala, Södertälje or the head office in Solna, with the opportunity to work from one of our offices in Solna, Uppsala or in Södertälje. Having a driver's license is an advantage as travel may occur in the service.




Qualifications


Who are you?
We are looking for a new colleague, who has an technical education from university, college, or equivalent experience. You enjoy working in projects and appreciate a variety in tasks and collaborating with customers. Your own drive and motivation are crucial to succeed in the role. You are systematic, adaptable, and an excellent team player.


In addition, you have:
Documented experience with Emerson's distributed control system DeltaV.
Experience from the process industry
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred qualifications:
Specific knowledge of batch processes
Knowledge of GMP
Experience from the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industry
