Automation Engineer with focus on projects

Let’s talk about the job
As an Automation Engineer within our team, you’re an important part of our global customer plants network, and you closely interact with both internal and external partners to find the best customized solutions within automation and electrics. You do this by collaborating with our sales areas and by acting as the link between the organization and our end customers. Your daily tasks include hands-on programming, design and system tests at our office, and you’re also involved in preparation of offers, establish documentation and giving support on technical issues. You contribute with your technical know-how in development projects – sometimes as sub project manager – and you make sure we continue to develop by keeping an eye on what’s going on around us, as well as sharing new ideas and innovations.


This position is based in Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities, such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our site located just across from the train station. Travel, both domestic and international, is a natural part of the job.  


Your character
We’re looking for someone with a relevant degree, such as Engineering and five to eight years’ experience from working as an Automation Engineer, preferably within a heavy industry segment. You’re skilled in the most common systems used for this line of work - such as Siemens, ABB and Rockwell – and you enjoy working in an international setting. This also means that you need great skills in English and an understanding of Swedish, while we consider skills in French as beneficial.


You’re curious, socially skilled and flexible, and you combine this with the structure and drive of a project manager’s mindset. You build strong networks and use collaboration as an everyday tool for success, and you confidently challenge and communicate with our stakeholders and customers. Your passion for technology and innovation is something we take for granted, and we think that you enjoy both solving complex problems and explaining your findings to others.
