Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.The Automation team within the Packaging Material organisation is responsible for providing automation resources to different projects and activities ranging from Technology Development to improvements on the installed base and installation of new equipment.We also maintain and support common design standards and solutions in order to have an efficient and uniform control system platform, fulfilling legal requirements.We can offer you a stimulating and varying work environment.We have the opportunity to adjust your role depending on your qualifications and ambitions as we need to strengthen our capabilities in many areas related to our responsibilities.Your main responsibilities can include a combination of: .Driving automation projects .Participating in cross-functional project teams .Specification of electrical equipment .Co-ordination of electrical design made by consultants or sub-suppliers .PLC, HMI and Drive programming .Start up, training and documentation .Maintaining and supporting our standards in the Electrical design, PLC and/or HMI areas.The person we are looking for has a genuine education in automation.Experience from design of electrical and automation systems and PLC-programming in Simatic S7 and HMI-systems is an advantage.Very good command of English and Swedish, both written and spoken, is required.You are a self-motivated person with a high inner drive to deliver results.You are a networking person with strong interpersonal skills and it is also important that you are thorough and structured.You like to see the big picture and contribute to the overall results and not only to your direct responsibility as an automation engineer.You will be working in an international environment including travelling (normally 30-80 days/year).
