Development & Engineering The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy, Lund, Sweden, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.In Modena, Lund, and Minneapolis we provide product innovation and industrialization of packaging systems and distribution solutions including world class expertise in key competence areas as well as in raw material converting processes and equipment to our customers all around the world.We can offer you a creative and stimulating global work environment in strong partnership with local Converting factory organisations, global suppliers & partners, central engineering organisation and competence centres.We are looking both for skilled professionals and younger talents that will grow into our future experts.We have the opportunity to adjust your role depending on your qualifications and ambitions as we need to strengthen our capabilities in many areas related to our responsibilities.We will strengthen our Engineering, Printing and Lamination teams within the Packaging Material organisation with additional Automation engineers.The responsibilities of these teams are to provide solutions to increase performance and expand capacity in the globally located Converting factories.This is done by: .Maintaining design standards and solutions in order to have an efficient and uniform control system platform, fulfilling legal requirements..Maintaining Printing and Coating Converting standard line specifications by driving and supporting Product life cycle projects with design, validate and deployment of new solutions .Deliver, install and commission new machine lines .Support the installed base with upgrades, technical expertise and spare parts .Providing resources to cross functional Technology Development projects Your main responsibilities can include a combination of: .Driving automation projects or participating in cross-functional project teams .Specification of electrical equipment .Co-ordination of electrical design made by consultants or sub-suppliers .PLC, HMI and Drive programming .Start up of new or upgraded equipment and train local automation organisation .Maintaining and supporting our standards in the Electrical design standards, PLC and/or HMI areas.The person we are looking for has a genuine education in automation.Experience from design of electrical and automation systems and PLC-programming in Simantic S7, Drive system and HMI-systems is an advantage.Very good command of English, both written and spoken, is required.The successful candidate is a self-motivated person with a high inner drive to deliver results.You are a networking person with strong interpersonal skills in combination with thoroughness and a structured approach at work.You like to see the big picture and contribute to the overall results and not only to your direct responsibility as an automation engineer.You will be working in an international environment including travelling.
