What you will do:
As an Automation Expert, you will support and execute our automation and digitalization roadmap. You will also be responsible for design, development and implementation of PLC based software solutions for our equipment utilizing P&ID, Electrical and Pneumatic drawing documents. You will also manage central projects related to Automation & controls and support the projects in factories for continuous improvement. The position is based in Lund, Sweden.
Key responsiblities:
• Responsible as Technical system owner for all centrally deployed systems e.g. vision system, Manufacturing Info. System etc.
• Support cost calculations and evaluation of technical solutions
• Drive/support commissioning and troubleshooting via remote connection or at factory site
• Continuously improve the existing PLC logics and manage different versions
• Provide proactive automation support, automation training and reactive automation issue resolution in our factories
• Provide support in troubleshooting electrical & Instrumentation related breakdowns for factories
• Provide and secure input to technical documentation and manuals
• The position requires seamless and transparent cooperation with central/clusters//business units etc.
Qualifications:
• Minimum B.Sc./B.Eng. level degree in the field of Electrical, Automation or Controls Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in development and design of modular automation solutions, preferably in the food packaging/processing industry
• Work experience needed of programming on PLC platforms such as Siemens S7, TIA Portal and/or Allen Bradley on Controls Logic, User interface and Communication
• Process Control and Optimization experience required
• Solid knowledge of functional safety, drives and network topology
• MS Office literacy is needed
• Good communication & Interpersonal skills with ability to influence others at different levels of the organization
• Hands on experience to work with teams to drive continuous initiatives is a must
• Self-driven and have a pro-active approach
• Possess strong analytical and logical skills
• Demonstrate leadership without authority to lead and motivate teams that do not directly report to you
• Knowledge of advance automation and predictive maintenance concepts
• Fluency in spoken and written English
