Description
Would you like to work in close relation with our customers, leading commercial automation projects in a large scale? We can offer you an independent role with great responsibility from contract to hand-over, in projects all over the world, with focus on Europe.
Tetra Pak Processing Systems sells and delivers large customized liquid food plants to customers worldwide. We provide processing solutions within the five food categories: dairy, cheese, ice cream, beverage and prepared food. Your mission is to focus on time, cost and quality, in close cooperation with other teams within the processing area.
As Automation Project Leader you will lead the automation team consisting of 5-15 engineers and will deliver automation systems that control a "food plant" eg a dairy. The role contains a large responsibility that you will drive independently. You will follow your projects from beginning to end and get to see the actual result of what you and your team has accomplished. You work in close relation with customers and suppliers in all of the projects life cycles. The budget for the automation part can reach up to 10-25 MSEK.
Main responsibilities
-Lead automation team in the projects
-Take the full resource and commercial responsibility of your projects
-Plan, control and follow-up economy, resources, time and quality, from order to customer take over, following our environmental and quality management system.
-Build and maintain a good customer relation and work proactively with quick analysis, decisions and actions.
-Attend in the sales phase for the automation part in project, making quotations and presentations for customers on technical issues as well as on commercial
Qualifications
The successful candidate has developed leadership skills, is well structured and strongly driven. It is important that you understand and full fill the needs of our clients and take own creative initiatives in a flexible way. You need to have an analytic mindset and the ability to create and maintain relationships.
You have a background in automation engineering with experience from programming in preferably Siemens, Rockwell and Wonderware. You also need to have several years experience in project management and technical educational background within the area of electronics. You need an overall technical understanding but won't need to dig into details.
Travels are part of the job. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
