We are looking for an individual with a background in automotive manufacturing or similar and with a high sense of quality. You should be driven and focused in finding the deviations in our processes, attend to them and continuously finding new ways in improving the Koenigsegg quality.


The Role:


You must want to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company. We are leading the way in the hypercar business.


As a Automation/ Software Engineer you will work both in our industrialization projects, and supporting our production operations. This is to ensure efficiency, availability and maintaining functionality, parallell to developing new functions and equipment.


Duties include:


Identify, plan and perform all needed actions related to automation and softwares, needed for our projects and manufacturing operations, in collaboration with Production and Project management, such as specifications, support procurement, programming, testing and maintenance.
Development of new equipment and technical solutions.
Act as a project leader for automation/ softwares projects.
Developing automation and softwares strategies.
Cover technology and research development externally.
Support project and production processes with expertise compentence.
Act proactively to improve our processes.
Continous improvements and development in the context of automation and softwares.
Support in defining software and equipment specifications.
Plan and execute function tests of software and/or shop floor equipment.
Lead any external resources needed for automation /softwares.



Requirements:


BSc or MSc degree in automation, or a similar experience by examination from a vocational school and a number of years working in the field of automation/ softwares.


Skilled in robot and PLC programming.
Experience of PLM, ERP and MES systems and integrated equipment.
Experience of CE-marking, machine safety, and safety for electrical equipment.
Experience of industrial automation, procurement, testing and maintenance.
Experience of electronics, mecatronics and mechanical design.
Proven experience in administration and updating documentation for electric installations and equipment (ePlan)
A practical approach and ability also for mechanical problem solving, and a strong analytical ability.
Innovative, flexible, independent, good organisational skills.
Social competence in a multi-cultural environment.
Professional level of English, spoken and written.
Automotive experience is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office.
Driver’s license
