Main responsibilities
As an Automation specialist, you will work with teams from our factories and product groups to develop and implement automation solutions in Operations. You will be an important member of the central automation and robotics team, working with a wide range of technologies, develop solutions and driving standards. You will be the responsible automation expert in the projects you participate in.
Your work will include:
Scout, develop and implement new solutions for Operations
Collaborate with suppliers and participate in networks inside and outside of Alfa Laval
Develop and improve existing applications and technologies
Develop guidelines and set standards within automation
Support and advice factories in new investments and automation projects
The position is based in Lund and may involve travelling up to 30 days per year.
What you know
You have a technical degree within Electrical engineering (or similar) and a strong technical background. You have at least 5-7 years of relevant experience from manufacturing industries, with a good understanding of system design, automation technologies and commissioning of equipment. Experience of working with Rockwell is a requirement. Experience of working with Siemens, Wonderware, vision, robotics and simulation are advantages.
