Automation Technician to Industrial Cooling and Heat Pump projects

What will you do?
As our new Automation technician, you will be a part of our industrial refrigeration Unit (IREF) located in Helsinki. Your main role is to take the full responsibility of the maintenance on electrical equipment as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing problems by guiding and finding the right sustainable solution which suits our customers’ requirements.
In Johnson Controls IREF we are specialists in sales, design, installation and service of refrigeration, cooling and heat pump systems for industrial and commercial refrigeration. You will influence, contribute and help us attain our customers needs and provide the best service and solutions.

How will you do it
Conduct required periodic and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment as well as solving and diagnosing problems.
Perform calibrations and repairs to instruments, valves, etc.
Diagnose cause of malfunction or failure of operational equipment
Communicate to Supervisors about the condition of the plant equipment and provide suggestions for plant improvements
Participating project installations and commissionings


What are we looking for


Relevant Electrical / Automation Technician educational background
Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC is a benefit
Knowledge of industrial cooling and heat pump systems is a benefit
SFS 6002 certification
Occupational Safety certification
Good teamwork and organizational skills
Skilled in using electrical equipment related to refrigeration plant maintenance and repairs
Finnish language skills both spoken and written
Basic IT skills
Capability to communicate in english
