The role

MAJORITY is looking for an Automation Test Engineer to join its backend team that builds and maintains event-driven cloud-native microservices in Kubernetes, using modern approaches and tools like DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, Service Mesh and strives for technical excellence, productivity, and automation.

Key Responsibilities 


Design and develop scalable, reliable and maintainable automated test solutions

Explore and understand complex test scenarios

Write automated tests in .NET

Perform API testing and exploratory testing

Work closely with backend developers and coach them on the testing approach

Identify risks in testability and coverage 

Drive automation/testing best practices and processes



 

Qualifications:


3+ years experience working with test automation

Experience writing automated tests

Experience with a programming language (e.g. .NET, Java or Python)

A good understanding of SQL databases

A good understanding of SDLC 

Experience working with Git

Fluency in English





It is a plus if you have: 


Experience with load testing 

Experience with DevOps

Experience with CI/CD pipelines 

Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium)

Experience working in Fintech
