Automotive HW Support Engineer

At ALTEN in Gothenburg, we are looking for a hardware support engineer to work with our automotive clients.

As Hardware Support Engineer, you support teams in hardware related questions, helping coworkers by solving specific problems, reviewing documents and reports, convert and providing necessary information to unblock the workflow. Attend meetings to judge solutions, participate in discussions, gather information, or provide results. This is a role which includes a lot of communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Interact with different teams, understand their needs.
Analyze solutions, technologies, technical data and test results. Bring information to help people with their workflow.
Find information, perform measurements/tests, convert technical subjects to simplified information.
Analyzing detailed drawings and schematics.
Creating accurate project specifications.
Performing engineering experiments.
Creating technical reports to give support on decision making.
Communicating with suppliers, clients and coworkers about analysis results.


We see that you are a senior hardware engineer, preferably with a background in automotive or aeronautics. You have experience of working in an agile environment and with product development. You have ideally worked with coordinating and leading projects. We are looking for an individual who has strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills. You are someone who can manage tasks independently, solve problems, report transparently, and manage cross functional contacts.

WE THINK YOU HAVE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING:
BSc or MSc in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic, Physics, or related engineering field.
Minimum five years of experience in Design, Development and Validation of automotive electrical/electronic components.
Overall knowledge of embedded electronic systems from both development and production point of views.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
