Automotive Material Controller

Presentation

On behalf of our world leading automotive client we are now looking for a Material Controller. The mission will start in the beginning of February. Application screening will start immediately - we look forward to receiving your application as soon as possible.


Arbetsuppgifter

• Responsible to execute material control operation in accordance with routines and global guidelines for selected suppliers.
• Responsible to continuously follow and act on deviation signals in material control system.
• Responsible to support, if needed and on request, other plants or Volvo Parts in shortage situations.
• Responsible to continuously communicate any deviation to internal customer.
• Responsible to escalate, in accordance with routines, deviations and risk for disturbances to responsible SRM a/o Manager.
• Responsible to follow up and analyze relevant and decided PI:s.
• Frequently communicate PI result to selected suppliers.
• Responsible to participate in local a/o regional networks to contribute to the process development.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities in the daily work.
• Responsible to update parameters in local material control system.

Utbildning/erfarenhet

• Relevant experience from Logistics environment, with special focus on material supply.
• Good knowledge in GM Management Systems.
• Very good skills in English and Swedish, both writing and verbal.
• Relevant experience of working with IS/IT-tools.
• Experience in working with Continuous improvements.
