Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Automotive Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
Apply proven expertise in embedded software development, focusing on Software product development on SoC with C in embedded context (low level driver). This includes design, programming, debugging, code quality assurance, profiling, optimization, and refactoring.
Perform hardware debugging as necessary to ensure software functionality.
Engage in modern software development processes such as backlog refinement and management, testing (unit tests, behavior tests, integration tests, test-driven development, testing tools and frameworks), Continuous Integration (task automation, Jenkins, flows, merge gates), code reviews, and environment scripting and automation.
Utilize experience with common SW development processes such as ASPICE, Scrum, Scrumban, and Kanban, particularly within the context of Automotive Software.
Employ SW version, requirements, and change management tools like Git/Gerrit, Jira, Polarion, and Jenkins.
Demonstrate expertise in flashing and testing of ECUs, as well as in the design and development of complex embedded software systems.
Ensure the functionality and productivity of the team, fostering close cooperation across all roles and functions while removing barriers to progress.
Support the Product Owner in defining, planning, and prioritizing the backlog for a software component team.
Identify and address impediments that hinder team progress, facilitating discussion and conflict resolution as needed.
Assist with internal and external communication efforts, enhancing transparency, and disseminating information effectively.
Collaborate with the Agile Team to define and scale user stories, as well as estimate their size.
Evaluate software structures and contribute to software requirements creation and understanding.
What You Bring:
Proven expertise in embedded software development, with a focus on Software product development on SoC with C in an embedded context.
Experience in hardware debugging to ensure software functionality.
Familiarity with modern software development processes including backlog refinement and management, testing methodologies, Continuous Integration, code reviews, and environment scripting.
Proficiency in common SW development processes such as ASPICE, Scrum, Scrumban, and Kanban, particularly in the Automotive Software domain.
Experience using SW version, requirements, and change management tools like Git/Gerrit, Jira, Polarion, and Jenkins.
Strong ability to flash and test ECUs, as well as design and develop complex embedded software systems.
Leadership skills to ensure team functionality and productivity, fostering cooperation and removing barriers.
Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities, facilitating discussion and addressing impediments.
Experience in Agile methodologies, including backlog management and user story definition.
Analytical mindset with the capability to evaluate software structures and contribute to software requirements understanding.
