We are now looking for Autonomous Drive Engineers
 

Description

You will be part of the Chapter Vehicle Motion Controls Engineering & Artificial Intelligence, which is one of five competence areas within the Software Tribe.

Our focus is to develop embedded vehicle software solutions for vehicle motion control and self-driving capabilities. We are also supporting this development with data analytics and strategies for data management.

We are now looking for innovative algorithm developers and software developers that can bring our future self-driving capabilities to life and that want to become experts in this field. Previous experience from algorithm development (perception, localization, prediction, motion planning, etc) is required for this position. Experience from the open source stack Autoware is very beneficial.

You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful. 

We will ensure that you will have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges

   

The role involves:

-  ML Algorithm development, optimization and training for various AD functions
- Software development in C++ and Python
- Data crunching using ML or other advanced algorithms
- Sensor requirement definition
- Full AD vehicle and traffic simulations
- Supporting ADS requirement breakdown
- Collaboration with NEVS engineers and partners in other teams and locations

      

 We are looking for someone who has:

- More than 5 years of experiences from developing autonomous drive software
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree
- Experience from ML algorithm development
- Experience from Autoware or similar AD stack
- Experience in data science
- Coding skills in C++, Python and R
- A test driven development approach
- Ability to share her or his expertise to colleagues
- Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
