Avionero makes flight and travel search easy.
We are a small start-up with big ambitions. Having already made good inroads in Sweden, we have also launched our product in ten other markets. We are building out our teams, and this is a great time to join and help drive the direction of the business. We are a fully online organization; all of our employees work remotely, but we highly value collaboration and team spirit, and provide the online tools to work independently and together.
For customers, we offer a unique and intuitive way to search, in combination with an easy-to-use interface and advanced machine learning AI technology. We believe that user experience should adapt to how people actually search for their travel; we not only uncover the fastest or the cheapest option, but also provide smart recommendations. Avionero is easier to use and saves time, and provides a much better experience for travel planning – making it a pleasure rather than necessity.
Brand Marketing Lead
In order to be considered for this role you must have 3+ years of brand marketing experience. You will have experience in devising and implementing brand campaigns, content plans, social media strategies, onsite merchandising, and creative production. You must have broad brand marketing experience, preferably in the travel industry, and/or with a tech start-up. You should also have some agency management and brand and/or communications governance experience.
Your profile:
· University degree (BA) in brand, marketing
· 3+ years of brand consumer marketing and social
· Excellent Swedish and English language skills
· A background managing the implementation brand campaigns, brand strategies
· Experience of delivering innovative, strategic brand positioning programmes
· Solid all-round marketing experience, preferably in travel industry or for tech start-ups
· Some agency management experience
· Some graphic design and/or copywriting experience
· Self-motivated, a quick learner, organised, detail-orientated, a multi-tasker
Key Role Responsibilities:
· Creates messaging framework, content roadmap, and content schedule
· Responsible for brand clarity, creative integrity, and brand health
· Development of the marketing assets
· Ownership of creative process
· Responsible for developing content across the marketing mix
· Responsible for Initial Consideration (brand), Active Evaluation (consideration), and the Loyalty Loop (retention)
Specific Activities:
· Owning the mix of PR, Organic Social, Influencers, content creation for onsite and partnerships (creative and copy), paid advertising creative.
· Owns customer data and the development of our loyalty: email channel; reengagement; repurchase
· Working with Performance Marketing on upper funnel paid media
· Working with Web team on improving SEO
· Working with Commercial on deployment and optimisation of affiliates and partnerships
· Partner with brand consultant to plan the implementation of the brand strategy across the business
· Deploy the brand across all customer touchpoints
· Set annual brand health metrics and tracking for the business
· Be the voice of the customer in all brand and marcoms, and in all new product development and platform changes
· Work in cross functional team to set the annual marketing calendar
· Work in cross functional team to define key umbrella messaging priorities
· Establish the central content plan and calendar based on agreed themes and priorities
· Lead on the development and implementation of integrated ATL branding campaigns that improve brand health metrics – awareness, consideration and intent
· Plan and report the impact of brand initiatives to the business, providing evidence for further investment
· Help to set brand objectives and indicators of success, across all marketing and communications teams
