Our first aircraft is the ES-19, a nineteen-passenger airliner with an operating range of 400 km. The ES-19 is a fully electric aircraft, and our goal is to have the aircraft certified for commercial operation by 2026.

We seek experienced and skilled professionals to join our small, fast moving team developing a new electric aircraft in Sweden.

Role Overview
We are seeking an Avionics Maintenance Engineer to help us design, develop and certify the integrated avionics systems. You will work closely with system engineers in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
What you will do:

Make sure maintenance requirements are captured and met

Help to create the aircraft maintenance philosophy
-
Support requirement validation
-
Support definition of verification plan and support testing on rigs and aircraft

Engage with Avionics suppliers and internal stakeholders/counterparts
-
Support review of supplier deliverables
-
Be involved in multiple transverse activities as the company grows and the aircraft is being developed
Qualifications & Experience
-
BS or MS in engineering (Electrical/Electronics)
-
Minimum 5 years experience with integrated avionics systems and maintenance sub-systems. (OMS, CMC, QAR etc.)

Working knowledge of interface definition between Avionics and third party systems, capturing functional requirements
-
Experience with avionics maintenance systems design and architecture (ATA45)

Working knowledge with aircraft avionics system certification (EASA/FAA Part 23 or Part25)

A high level of proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Excellent communication skills

Eagerness to work within a team environment

The ideal candidate would have

Experience or knowledge about ground maintenance service offered to aircraft fleets

Working knowledge of systems engineering principles for safety critical systems (SAE ARP 4754/4761)

System engineering, requirement management tools
-
Working knowledge of system testing on the test bench (rigs)
-
Experience working in an aerospace start-up environment
