Our first aircraft is the ES-19, a nineteen-passenger airliner with an operating range of 400 km. The ES-19 is a fully electric aircraft, and our goal is to have the aircraft certified for commercial operation by 2026.

Your place of work will be at our main office and hangar facility. This is located at Säve Airport in Gothenburg, Sweden. Relocation assistance can be provided. We seek experienced and skilled professionals to join our small, fast moving team developing a new electric aircraft in Sweden.

Role Overview

We are seeking Avionics System Integration Engineers to help us design, develop and certify the integrated avionics systems. You will work closely with system engineers in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.

What you will do:

-
Elaborate block diagram of interface

-
Elaborate electrical block diagram between avionics and third parties

-
Manage an electronic interface tool

-
Support the planning and schedule interface definition freeze


Qualifications & Experience

-
BS or MS in engineering (Electrical/Electronics)

-
Minimum 10 years’ experience with aircraft system integration with primary avionics system (platform)

-
Working experience of systems engineering principles for safety critical systems and the definition of their architecture (SAE ARP 4754/4761)

-
High sense of system team integration, including safety, human factors, pilots, systems itself and all stakeholders involved in the definition of the integration

-
Technical knowledge of ARINC429, Analog signal, discrete, CAN bus, Ethernet, ARINC 664, RS485, RS422 etc.

Working knowledge with aircraft avionics system certification (EASA/FAA Part 23 or Part25)

-
A high level of proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Excellent communication skills

-
Eagerness to work within a team environment

A passion for aircraft and Heart’s mission


The ideal candidate would have

-
Working experience on interface with all aircraft systems designing and supporting the development of primary avionics

-
Experience working in an aerospace start-up environment
