Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Connectivity at Scania is one of the key components in Scania “driving the shift” strategy. At Connected Systems, EC, we develop and operate Scanias IoT solution. It span from in-vehicle, via Telecom to the Scania back-end platform.
We are looking for an experienced developer with an interest in building IoT solutions in cloud. The Common Equipment Information group is responsible for both in-vehicle and back-end applications that is the base for customer services, like our Fleet managent portal, Scania FleetCare service and Driver coaching. The data stream managed by the group is of high importance and contain crucial information of all Scania produced products. We work with strong teams, managed by our SAFe implementation.
What you will do
As a developer you will be a part of a team that works in development projects within electrified vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and monitoring of vehicle health.
The group is also scaling up the existing connectivity solution while keeping up a rolling fleet of 400k vehicles with minimal disturbance.
At EC we work agile and have DevOps responsibility. We are now using the Scaled Agile Framework and you will ensure the strategy of the group is visible and understandable in Jira that we use as a SAFe tool.
Who you are
You are a person who enjoy coding and wants to excel in programming. You like to take a team responsibility as senior developer, e.g. supporting junior developers and driving improvement work.
We are looking for an experienced developer (at least 5 years) with cloud experience (at least 2 years). You are experienced in SQL, C# and Python. Tools you have used in AWS is Lambda, Dynamo DB, Athena, Kinesis, RDS (Aurora, MS SQL), SQS, SNS and ECS. Other tools you are familiar with are, Gitlab (runners, CI/CD), Datadog, ORC, Jenkins.
You take responsibility for what you do and communicating in English and Swedish is easy for you.
