Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team
What you will work on:
Developing high-quality data pipelines to make data available on the Bank Data Platform.
Creating reusable components and enhancing existing flows and components.
Providing documentation at the appropriate level to facilitate understanding and support.
Taking responsibility for the team’s deliveries as part of a DevOps approach.
Leveraging extensive knowledge of the AWS platform and its related services such as AWS Glue, AWS S3, AWS Athena, AWS Select, and AWS Lambda.
Integrating with Kafka and ensuring smooth data flow.
Implementing effective data modeling techniques.
Utilizing relational databases and ELT/ETL tools for data processing.
Building and maintaining Data Lakes in AWS, employing AWS technologies.
Ensuring data quality and addressing issues as they arise.
Applying experience in Bank/Finance sectors to enhance data solutions.
Demonstrating strong developer skills in relevant software.
Contributing to technical architecture decisions.
Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Collaborating effectively within a team and independently.
Employing a structured, analytical, and accurate approach to work.
Adapting to cultural differences and working in a diverse environment.
Demonstrating a strong desire to acquire new knowledge and skills.

What you bring:
Extensive experience with AWS platform and related services.
Proficiency in Kafka integration and data modeling.
Familiarity with relational databases and ELT/ETL tools.
Expertise in developing and managing Data Lakes in AWS.
Strong understanding of data quality principles.
Previous experience in Bank/Finance domains is advantageous.
Excellent developer and architectural skills.
Effective communication abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
