Description

The Data Platform is moving into the next phase where focus shifts from accumulation and ingestion of data into the Data Lake to serving the consuming Stakeholders with data and to provide a self-service capability to the larger organization.

This addresses a pressing need where Stakeholders at present on a weekly basis requests access to data where the current architecture and staffing cannot provide any service.

The team setup suggested in this document will primarily focus on architectural tasks at hand and the build-up of capabilities of the Data Platform - not to serve individual Stakeholders with specific data ad-hoc.

The situation and the immediate needs have been reviewed by the Resource Profile Analysis Committee (RPAC), analyzed, and converted into core skill profiles/roles suitable to add - as a new team - to the Data Platform-group (currently consisting of the Data Lake Team).

The immediate needs of the Data Platform correspond to the demands of the Stakeholders (serving data) but also corresponds to where there have been underinvestments until now. This is mainly the model, serve and presentation layer of the Data Platform.

The client is looking for a highly experienced integration architect with Azure cloud experience to join their team. Your responsibility will also include designing, crafting and sometimes developing, and testing critical enterprise integration solutions. You will be working as a solution architect on a variety of development projects, as well as existing applications when required.

You have proven experience with cloud, hybrid, and on-premises integration technologies. Experience in developing integration solutions with the Azure Paas stack will be key.

You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of transformation projects across many exciting and challenging capability areas, including building integration platforms for enterprise systems, creating API or microservice architectures and enabling real-time and event streaming capabilities.

Mandatory competence and experience:

- The candidate should have a proven track record with cloud, hybrid, and on-premises integration technologies.
- The candidate should have experience in developing integration solutions with the Azure PaaS stack - Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure API Management, Azure Active Directory (Must have)
- Azure Logic Apps, Azure Function Apps, App Services, Azure Service Fabric ( Must have)
- Experience in integration around Azure data lake and other Azure data platforms (Nice to have)

- Experienced in various architecture paradigms like - Service-Orientation and messaging architecture (Must have)
- Microservices, API-driven, Event streaming ( Must have)

- Overall 10+ years of experience in Integration, around 5+ years experience in Azure integration architecture.
