As a Sales function we have the assignment to maximize the sales and growth opportunities with the offer we have and create the optimal conditions for sales and growth with the new offer we are developing. We are accountable to create the IKEA sales plan based on the agreed goals in the IKEA Business Plan. A clear direction, supported and executed by world-class competences, is the way forward for driving sales and optimizing growth. Every member of the Sales team plays a key role in meeting this assignment and contributing to building a strong efficient sales function.
As Sales Support, you will proactively support the sales year cycle in the functional dimension to support the function in optimizing sales, growth, profitability, and precision within the running business and setting up for future growth. You will be responsible for capturing business data and performing business analysis, making it available within the function.
You will play a key role in building a standardized way of handling data in the function for increased efficiency and quality to secure an agile and proactive sales team. You will collaborate with several stakeholders in the BA, as contributing to efficiencies within the BA by supporting with administrative tasks related to the Sales function. As part of the team, you will also be expected to lead functional projects on varying topics.
If you have experience from working in a Sales role within IKEA, it is a definite advantage. You have a good knowledge of IKEA, its organizational structure, the value chain, and ways of working. You have a drive and passion for sales, you are a fast learner with a structured approach who can take initiative and have the courage to question and challenge.
You are motivated by building and developing good relations and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, driving through others by not seeing challenges just the opportunities.
You are strong in analyzing, creating insights from performance data, and drawing conclusions. You have a straightforward solution orientated approach and are motivated by being part of a changing growing business with many potentials.
We work in a global environment with co-workers from all over the world. As a company we are constantly developing which requires the ability to drive change in a complex, fast paced, international environment to achieve outcomes that contribute to the overall goals of IKEA Food. Our corporate language is English, so fluency both verbally and in writing is required.
